Class Objectives
/Class Outline
By developing their intelligence people became able to think about distant and abstract things like the end of the universe, or the birth and death of stars and galaxies. But what is the essence of this thing called "intelligence"? R. Feynman famously said "What I cannot create, I do not understand." By this logic, in order to truly understand intelligence, we need to build one. This is what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is trying to do. In this lecture, we will try to think about "What is intelligence" by studying the history, present state and future of computers and AI itself (some of the most recent AI technology will be also demonstrated).
