The class will be conducted primarily by means of interactive activities. Students are required to always participate actively. In principle, lessons will be online (real-time via Zoom), but it may be necessary to occasionally hold classes face-to-face.

The course is aimed at students wishing to acquire the English communication (especially writing) skills necessary to participate in the global community.

Class Objectives
/Class Outline
To develop higher-level writing skills through various interactive activities. The focus will be on the improvement of writing skills: Improving written fluency; using effective writing strategies; learning key expressions for structuring essays; developing an awareness of essay structure; identifying and practicing problematic areas of vocabulary and multiword usage; using advanced AI tools to assist in the writing process. By the end of the course, students should be able to write short essays and participate confidently in other written communication such as emails. Students will learn to use AI tools effectively and responsibly, in preparation for a future where AI is increasingly integrated into various aspects of life.

Review
Advice for preparation and review will be given accordingly. Students are expected to review the material studied in class and prepare in advance for the following lesson.  
Requirements  
Grading Method Assessment will be given based on class participation and performance throughout the course as follows:
Vocabulary quizzes (10%),
Homework writing (20%),
Capstone project (written component: 30%),
Capstone project (oral presentation with PPT slides: 20%),
Class participation and engagement (20%)
