Class Objectives
/Class Outline Higher-level oral skills will be developed through various interactive activities including pair work, role-play, and small group discussion. The focus will be on the improvement of conversational skills: Improving spoken fluency; using effective communication strategies; learning key expressions for general conversation; developing an awareness of idiomatic and colloquial usage; and identifying and practicing problematic areas of pronunciation and intonation. By the end of the course, students should be able to handle a wide variety of conversational situations and participate confidently in discussions.
