Applied Animal and Plant Science Program

Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Designed for students majoring agriculture (including animal science) and students who are interested in dairy science, this course will provide practical experience in dairy production and management. Students will be familiarized with milk and milk products, artificial insemination, lactation and feeding through handling dairy cows. 
Class Schedule Aug. 27th, Meet at the designated place (JR Saijo Station). Course introduction.
Aug. 28th, Feeding and managing dairy cows. Milking and milk production.
Aug. 29st, Reproductive management of dairy cows. Smart farming. Digital transformation.
Aug. 30th, Presentation and discussion.
