・To comprehensively understand morphological, ecological, physiological, pathological, biochemical, and genetic features of various creatures in hydrosphere.
・To understand management, expansion, utilization of fishing resources as well as economic activities of the fishing industry.
・To understand physiological, pathological, biochemical, genetic systems which are required for management and expansion of fishing resource.

Understanding of the present problems on the fisheries activities from various aspects.  
Class Schedule Lessons 1&2 Introduction: fisheries resources as food resources
Lessons 3&4 Problems of fisheries resources: overfishing and drastic change in the catch of fish
Lessons 5&6 Ecosystem in marine environments: mechanisms of the production of marine organisms; population and sub-population of fishes
Lessons 7&8 Development, growth, and reproduction of fishes
Lessons 9&10 Distribution, migration, feeding, and predation of fishes
Lessons 11&12 Theories of the catch efforts and stock management; problems in fisheries.
Lessons 13&14 Stock enhancement and management strategies
Lesson 15 Questions and answers  

Short examination will be held at each lesson
