To learn fundamental properties of materials that are used for infrastructures.
The evaluation items of 'knowledge and understanding' and 'ability and skill' are as follows:
1. To understand the kind and properties of principal structural materials, and to explain the characteristics of materials ((B) ability to find problems)
2. To explain the changes in properties of materials caused by exogenous actions and the causes ((C) ability to understand the components of problems)
