This subject is aim to experience the creation of something through drawing and modeling.
The management skill of the creation project is also cultivated.

・Ability of design and action: Ability of constructing designs and getting projects done in related to transportation equipment and coexistence with the environment.

Class Objectives

Each student designs and draws an original glider and manufactures the glider model.
The design skills based on the vehicle and environmental systems and the ability of project performance are cultivated.  
Class Schedule (1)Lecture for design and modeling of a glider
(2)Design of a main wing of the glider (selection of the airfoil profile and drawing of its 2D plan)
(3)Evaluation of aerodynamic performance of the designed main wing
(4)Drawing of the glider (main wing, tail wings, body)
(5)Modeling of the glider
(6)Evaluation of the flight performance in competition
