・The capacity and attitude necessary for practicing specialized fields of dental technicians (dental technique) as a dental team. 
Class Objectives
/Class Outline
To give a chance to experience and carry out the process of production of body and maxillofacial epitheses.
To aim at understanding and acquirement of basic skills mainly through practices using the models. 
Class Schedule 1st class : Guidance, Preliminary impression of the affected side (right hand), Production of models, Facial impression, Production of models (Taji)
2nd class : Precise impression of the affected side (right hand), Boxing, Production of working models (Taji)
3rd class : Trimming of working models, Measurement, Production of the wax pattern of the healthy side (Taji)
4th class : Waxing up of fingers of the affected side 1 (Nagami and Taji)
5th class : (Maxillofacial prosthesis 1) Introduction, drawing iris of the artificial eye/drying/adjustment of the model (Morishita and Taji)
6th class : (Maxillofacial prosthesis 2) Investing artificial eyes/polymerization/polishing (Morishita and Taji)
7th class : Waxing up of fingers of the affected side 2 (Nagami and Taji)

The examination is not carried out. Assessment will be made globally on the basis of the attendance status and the works produced in the practices.

Students are advised to carefully read the practice guides before each practice. 
Requirements In the program, students will engage in production of epitheses. Do not miss the classes unless you have special reasons. There will not be any make-up classes for the classes you have missed. 
Grading Method Academic assessment will be made globally on the basis of the attendance status (including the attitude in attending classes), and the works produced in the practices. (Academic assessment will be made on the basis of submitted materials (80%) and attitude in practices (20%).)
