・The capacity and attitude necessary for practicing specialized fields of dental technicians (dental technique) as a dental team. 
Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Dental injury caused by sports is the most common type of injury for young people. Moreover, temporomandibular joint arthrosis, which is regarded as the fourth disease in the field of dentistry, is increasing in young patients. In this class, lectures will be given regarding the overview of injuries in the mouth caused by sports, preventive methods, preventive devices, and treatment. In addition, lectures will be given regarding the overview of temporomandibular joint arthrosis, classification, treatment method, therapeutic device, theory of occlusion, fundamentals of jaw movements, and dental materials used for the devices. Students will be made to acquire the knowledge of sports-related injuries and temporomandibular joint arthrosis required in the field of school dental health, and to gain the ability to give advice or supervise their prevention, early detection and early treatment.
