GIO Acquire the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to safely perform scaler manipulation and drug application to the root surfaces of patients. SBOs 1. Learn to operate a Gracie curette to remove tartar and be able to accurately handle patients. 2. Develop PMTC contra manipulation techniques. 3. Experience Gum Massage. 4. Accurate PMTC instrument selection and operation. 5. Describe the dental hygienist's assessment and intervention in periodontal treatment and changes in periodontal tissue 6.
