By the end of the course, students will be able to: 1. Understand the roles, purposes, and objectives of occupational therapy in the field of aging. 2. Understand and explain the roles, purposes, and objectives of occupational therapy according to the stages of aging related disabilities/diseases. 3. Understand and explain the roles, purposes, and objectives of occupational therapy for older adults in care homes and community. 4. Understand and explain occupational therapy interventions for frail older adults and people with dementia. |
