Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Students will learn how to support people living and recovering in the community with health issues, from expectant mothers and newborns to the elderly, and from the maintenance phase to the end of life. In particular, students will learn how people with mental illness, intractable diseases, and those with compensatory systems such as living with a ventilator in the community using various social resources, and learn about the needs of these people and their families while developing values and attitudes as nurses. |
Class Schedule |
Each term consists of 2 credits of practical training. Half of the students take the first half (3 terms), and the other half take the second half (4 terms). Community and Home Health Care Nursing Theory" (1 credit) will also be offered as a set. Therefore, students placed in Term 3 will have practical training and "Community and Home Health Care Nursing Theory" in Term 3, and students placed in Term 4 will have practical training and "Community and Home Health Care Nursing Theory" in Term 4.
