Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Students will deepen their understanding of the life and care needs of people living with disabilities and illnesses in the community, and learn an overview of the role that the nursing profession plays in the community, based on changes in history, culture, society, systems, and international aspects. At the same time, based on the content studied in Community and Home Nursing Practicum I, students will learn about places and methods of support that support people in the community. 
Class Schedule lesson1: Concepts of home health care nursing, the role of the nursing profession, and the life function model
lesson2: Understanding developmental disabilities and methods of care: reflection on practical training
lesson3: Support for Children and People with Developmental Disabilities: Practicum Reflection
lesson4: Support for persons with mental disabilities to live in the community: reflection on practical training
lesson5: Support for children with medical care needs in the community: practice reflection
lesson6: Support in the community for those who need medical support Practice reflection
lesson7: Practice of community comprehensive care system: reflection on practice
lesson8: Nursing skills and assessment necessary for home care support

Each group is assigned to present their experience at the clinical practice and learning.  In addition, an examination will be given at the end of the course.

∙ In each practice group, please reflect on the practice conducted on Tuesday. Please report back to the class on what you learned and what questions you had (each group will research the questions). Engage in a whole class discussion. Share experiences and learning from other groups. 
Requirements This course is combined with "Community and Home Health Care Nursing Practicum I." Therefore, students who will be practicing in Term 3 will take this course in Term 3, and students who will be practicing in Term 4 will take this class in Term 4.

Practical Experience Experienced  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it The lecturer has an experience as a nurse at hospitals and Ministry of Health as a nursing specialist. The lecturer also has an experience of home health nursing. She can share those experiences with the students.
