To understand the characteristics of natural and man-made disaster and nursing activities required in each disasters 3. To understand the characteristics and respond of nuclear disaster 4. To understand prevention, care and respond to health issues impacted by disasters 5. To understand the physical and psychological responds by disasters and what health professionals can contribute to those responds 6. To explore and understand the nurses role in disaster risk reduction in communities. |
