Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Everything, of course including your own body, is made only of electrons, quarks, and gluons.  A single quark or gluon cannot be taken out, but scientists have no doubt in their existence.  Moreover, they think the quarks have spontaneously broken a symmetry and generated the mass.  We will try to make you feel as if you "see" these strange phenomena through the class.  Please feel what is known and what is not, and be interested in the frontline of research.
Class Schedule The goals of the class will be achieved through 15 hours of intensive lecture.
