Using different scientific videos of agencies like National Geographic Society and other university free academic videos will help in enhancing the listening ability, critical assessment ability. All these materials are related to different aspects of Earth and other planetary bodies, hence these classes will increase better understanding of the different processes, mechanisms and their products.

Preparation and

Understanding of English in science in general and Earth and Planetary Sciences in particular is necessary. The class hour will be equally distributed for listening, reading and writing ability. So there is a need to bring notebook, and writing material and have to concentrate on listening materials.  
Requirements  
Grading Method Before every class text materials will be distributed (if necessary video materials, as well). There will be class test/reports to be submitted after every class. Listening, understanding, reading and re-checking will be repeatedly periodically.  Grading will be done on weekly tests (80%) and your attendance/class activities (20%).
