Instructors will give instructions about preparation and review as needed. 
Requirements This is a compulsory subject for all students of the major in Biological Science. 
Grading Method The final grade is formed as a weighed sum of the exams/reports mark (60%) and the mark from the active class participation (40%).

Message This is an introductory course in biochemistry, cell biology, genetics, and evolutionary biology. Students who intend to study comprehensive basic biology should also take Basic Biological Science B (HK150000) that deals with topics not covered in this course.
