Class Objectives
/Class Outline
The students practice the logical and critical thinking by writing their Bachelor’s thesis, and acquire the literacy of discussion and presentation. 
Class Schedule To complete the Bachelor’s thesis, the students practice the following science literacy: reading the references, data analysis, writing the thesis, and presentation of the results.
In addition to these, the students study the research management too, for example, the planning of experiments, the sample preparation, the discussion about the results, the structure of thesis, the method of argument and statement, etc.

Review
The references related to the subject should be read carefully, and the acquired knowledge and skills may be usefully utilized for the research. According to the progress of student's research, the staff offers advice and/or suggestion. 
Requirements It is important for the student to complete the thesis through the careful survey and a deeper consideration. 
Grading Method Evaluation will be comprehensively judged with the posture over the research study, the contents, the presentation, etc. Levels of participation to the discussion will be taken into consideration.

Message The students are recommended to be familiar to scientific papers in English and to be interested in the information about synchrotron radiation and material sciences. 
Other Submission of the research results to some refereed journal is highly encouraged.
