This course explores the modeling of phenomena in nature, as well as the mathematical techniques necessary for analyzing these phenomena. 
Class Schedule The following topics will be discussed:

Mathematical theory of random walks
Mathematical theory of chemotaxis
Mathematical theory of reaction-diffusion systems
Mathematical theory of collective behavior
Mathematical theory of dynamical systems and chaos
Mathematical theory of flow and flight/swimming
Mathematical theory of convection

Depending on the progress of the class, the order of the topic and/or some contents may be subject to change.

Several short reports, the final report

The contents may be changed depending on the progress of the class.  
No specific textbook is required for preparation. Guidance will be provided during the lecture as needed
