This class aims to understand the past and present of the planet Earth through learning the basics on Earth and Planetary Science: Origins and evolution of the Solar System, Earth and Life, and Ocean-atmosphere interactions and circulation.

Review using the lecture handouts is desirable. 
Requirements Students are advised to have knowledge in high school physics and chemistry. The classes are understandable for those who did not take a geology class at high school. 
Grading Method Reports (or short-exam) for each class and the term-end examination will be totally scored.

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it  
Message Because of a basic level of the class, listening well in the classes and immediate understanding would be desirable. It is very important to become interested in Earth and Planetary science through the classes. The class schedule may be changed sometimes.
