Class Objectives
/Class Outline
In this class, beginners are the primary subjects, and as a general remark, based on the, using basic concepts of business administration and an understanding of management philosophy development and changes, fundamental issues regarding modern business management will be discussed. We will explain, while confirming, various concepts and ideas.
In particular, we will retrospectively review the strategic actions of the company thus far and outline its management characteristics. In addition, we will discuss how to solve issues that the companies confront while presenting strategic management cases that frequently ask “what is the purpose of management and what is the challenge?” to encourage students’ understanding.
Today, the manner of Japanese management is being questioned once again; hence, there is a demand for the establishment of a more evolved Japanese-style management approach

Textbook: Masanori SETO (2017), Strategic Management Principles: The Process of Penetrating the Philosophy of Utilizing People and Organizations, Chuo Keizaisha.
Along with textbooks, elaborate notes and lecture notes are also important learning tools, including during preparation for regular exams. Resumes and supplementary explanatory materials will be distributed as needed. 
Requirements This lecture will use PowerPoint materials and follow the contents of the textbook, especially during the second half; therefore, be sure to purchase the designated textbook in advance. 
Grading Method Final examination 70%,Short test 30%
For each short test, after each test, we summarize the scoring results and provide feedback on learning points.
