Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Our cities and regions are facing a lot of problems including urban congestion, soaring housing prices, and environmental pollution, etc. This lecture focuses on urban and regional economic policies such as land use regulations and housing subsidy policies and analyzes how these economic policies affect urban and regional economies, and what kind of policy effects can be expected by performing economic analysis. Through this lecture, the goal is for students to be able to independently conduct economic and academic analyses of urban and regional economic, transportation, and environmental issues, and to be able to propose solutions. |
