The significance of the bachelor's thesis in this program is to apply the knowledge gained through courses in economics to analyze research topics of interest to students, thereby to deepen their understanding of economics and economic history.

Students will choose their own thesis topics primarily focusing on Western economic history or contemporary European economy, and write their theses.
We have scheduled thesis topic presentations in July, a summer seminar in September, and a joint seminar with Kinki University, Senshu University in November.
