Through participation in classes at the Institute of History, National Chungchi University of Political Science and other institutions, and through visits to historical memorials, the students will be able to understand and explain Taiwan's history and relations with Japan, as well as the state of human rights development.

This class is a problem-solving research course, in which students are expected to discover problems on their own, and to present directions and prescriptions for solving them.
 
Requirements 1. The course will be in the form of intensive lectures during the summer holiday (August-September), so students must be able to participate for the entire 10-day period, including pre- and post-learning and the visit to Taiwan. Specific dates will be announced in due course.
2. Sufficient command of English or Chinese is required.
3.If there are too many applicants, selection will be based on an interview (in Japanese, English and Chinese) and a comprehensive evaluation of the applicants' performance.
4.The cost of travel and other information will be communicated in due course.
5.A valid passport covering the period of travel is required.







 
Grading Method The evaluation will be based on a comprehensive assessment of the students' attitude to participation in class and fieldwork, the number and content of their statements, and the content of their presentations and reports.
