This is  a mandatory class for the certificate of school librarian. The class is to understand rules of index, making index, methodology of categorizing index, methodology of searching index, computerized index and methodology of arranging media in a library.

(More Details) By having overviews and exercises alternately, we aim to form basic understanding and acquire practical abilities concerning the features of media and its systematism in school libraries.
Lecture-style (Lecture-oriented, Frequent use of blackboard / whiteboard, Textbooks, Handouts, Listening to tapes, Discussion, Debate, Student presentation, With/without agenda, etc.)
Types of audiovisual aids used (Video, DVD, OHP, Closeup camera, Slide and transparency, PowerPoint, etc.)
Usage of video and DVD (Number; Screen time per 1 unit)
Textual information of video and DVD (Subtitles, With/without practical guide)
Textbook, Materials provided in class, Audio teaching materials, Screen image (Video/PC/Other image materials)

Review
Utilizing the characteristics as an intensive course, overviews and exersises take turns. Concentrate on the lessons and every day review has a great significance.  
Requirements Limited to students who have taken School Management and School Library.  Attendance is compulsory once enrolled.   
Do not put other plans during intensive seminar. 
Grading Method 【examination】
Exercises assignment (Collection methods, Organizing and Summarizing) (50%), and Examination (50%). The contents of examination are related to confirm the basic items in the lectures.
