Class Objectives /Class Outline |
This course mainly deals with various concepts of education, the history of education, the transition of educational thought, and contemporary educational issues. These are important for aspiring teachers to form their views on education and to deepen their understanding of being involved in public education. In particular, we have the opportunity to learn extensively about the history of education. The goals for students taking this course are: 1. To understand and explain the philosophical and historical background of education, and 2. To be able to perceive education in a variety of ways. |
