We lecture on a history of the psychological study and about every main psychological study domains.

The aims of this lecture are as follows.
1. To become able to explain an outline about the history of psychological study.
2. To become able to explain an outline about basic structure and the function of human mind.
3. To understand study themes and the methodology of each psychological study area.
Summary of the class
This class is the introduction to psychology in the university. At first, we lecture on a history of the psychological study. Then about every main psychological study domains, we lecture on an important study theme, the characteristic of the methodology and a recent study of the domain. We explain the reason that psychology is the means of solving problems of the mind of human beings who live in the modern society.

Students can deeper understand materials of each lecture reading textbooks for survey of psychology and specific lecture domains before and after the classes.
Please actively ask lecturers for questions when you find unclear materials during your study before and after the classes. 
Requirements In the learning of psychology, it is important for students to actively participate in survey research and experiments, as well as to attend lectures.
Therefore, during lectures, we may sometimes recruit participants for survey research and experiments and/or conduct survey research that are closely related to our lectures and experiments that can be done in large groups.
Participation in these research and experiments is not related to students’ final grade, but just highly recommended. 
Grading Method Points of view of the evaluation are:
1. To be able to explain an outline about the history of psychological study.
2. To be able to explain an outline about basic structure and the function of human mind.
3. Understanding study themes and the methodology of each psychological study area.
