The course is based on on-demand classes using Teams, but important information and explanations of each lesson will be provided in the lecture room. This will start at 9:00 and last until 11:30 maximum.

Attendance at the supplementary sessions in the lecture room is optional, but the class instructor recommends that you attend.

This course was initiated as a special subject (advanced course) in the psychology program, with the aim of providing students knowledge on the development of human cognitive process, a major field in psychology. Students are expected to deepen the knowledge obtained through introduction courses, such as “Social Psychology” among others. Furthermore, students are expected to gain useful information about research topics that they will be investigating in the future.

In this course, characteristics of interpersonal behaviors and interpersonal relationships in contemporary Japanese society would be investigated from the perspective of social psychology.

Students are expected to have an active attitude, and review the lecture materials when needed. Students can also consult with teachers individually about concrete methods of preparing and reviewing lessons, after making an appointment with the teacher. 
Requirements This course is a medium level program. Students are assumed to have introductory and elementary knowledge of psychology.
If you are not sure of your skills and knowledge, please have a look at the reference books in advance.
Group activities are required in class. All students are expected to be cooperative and considerate of others.
 
Grading Method Final exam (70%) and reflection every time (30%)are comprehensively evaluated.
