This course provides an introduction to scientific research methods in psychological science and  experimental design. Students in this course will gain real experience by working in a small group to design an experiment of their own.
 
Class Schedule Lesson 1 Guidance,Review of technical terms.
Lesson 2 Basic technical terms.
Lesson 3 Various research methods of psychology.
Lesson 4   Correlation does not imply causation.
Lesson 5   Various methods of data collection.
Lesson 6 Decide a research topic. Set up a hypothesis

Lesson 8   Mid-term examination.

Lesson 1-5 Before the lesson, review the relevant parts in the textbooks used in Introductory Psychology Laboratory Project I and II.
Lesson 6-11 Prepare for own experimental design.
Lesson 12 Prepare for the presentation.
Lesson 13-15  The contents by Lesson 10 are the prerequisites for the following lessons, so please review them before the lessons.
 
Requirements Include contents assuming to have taken Introductory Psychology Laboratory Project I and II.
Desirable to take this class for the Research Methods in Social Surveying  I and Psychological Testing I(4 semester)  and Directed Study in Psychology (5 semester)"
