" 教育学研究に必要な質的調査法について概観し、エスノグラフィーとライフヒストリーについて、その理論と方法を学ぶ。具体的には、前半はテキスト、および配付資料を中心として質的調査法の理論と方法を学ぶ。後半は、予備調査の後、実際にフィールドに出て、簡単な質的調査を実施し、それをthesisとしてまとめる。
 本lectureでは、教育学研究に必要な質的調査法の基礎となる理論と方法を習得し、実際に調査を行い、thesisを執筆する基礎的能力を身につけることを目的とする。"
