Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Of the themes handled by educational sociology, we focus on those from a macro perspective. In classes, students develop sociological perspectives on education by introducing familiar examples and educational events that have appeared in the media. Specifically, we introduce basic concepts and theories on themes such as education and selection, social class and education, media and education, and sociology of teachers, as well as recent research results. |
