As a basic course, students will acquire the fundamental knowledge of arts education while understanding theoretical and practical issues in both schools and societies. Through this course, students will also gain a wide range of perspectives of the contents and practices in arts education, thereby examining the relationship among human beings, education, and arts activities, thus cultivating basic skills for teaching practice.

In this course, students will learn arts education in school and society while understanding its theory and practice. Students will also examine the teaching methods for arts education in various educational scenes in Japan and other countries, and then explore the possibility of implementing a new method of teaching art.
