"Put ""Public art"" as a key word, conduct  literature survey, field work investigation and production of works
Assignment 1:Research reports of public art
Assignment 2: Product maquette of public art.
Through those assignments, cinsider the roles of sculptures in lifelong education society.
*As for Assignment 1, in accordance with the enrollment, presentation schedule will be decided. Presentations and Qs & As are held at the beginning of the each lesson. In every presentation, the current situation and issues of public art are recognixed.

Books,etc.
"Video, DVD,OHP, Closeup camera, Slide, PowerPoint, etc. can be used.
Usage of video and DVD (Approx. 30 min / 1 unit)
Teaching materials are instructed in the first lesson.
Students will be charged the cost of materials for maquettes later.
Textbook: No specific textbooks. As relevant materials are provided in every lesson, so prepare for one A4 bookbinder to file them.

"Lesson 1
Confirm the contents of the lesson and reconfirm the objectives of assignment work. Read the reference books.
Lesson 2
Understand the meaning of the assignment correctly, reconfirm the presence of publc art in daily life, and prepare for ""Assignment 1.""
Lesson 3,4
Read the reference books, and deepen understanding of public art by obtaining more knowledge.
Lesson5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13
Understand the assignment, and try to acquire skills as well as pursue expressions of yourself.    
Lesson 14
Confirm your works at exhibition presentation.

Through general review, confirm your own assignment.
 
Requirements "Specialized subject(sculpture)
Limited numbers of the class due to conditions of classroom, facilities. .
(Other than art education majors need to consult with teachers in charge beforehand.)
Since included as advanced subjects, based on practical works and learning of theories so far, the purpose of this course is to learn more about those in an exercise style comprehensively. Therefore, it is desirable to have taken the at least 2 basic courses; ""Sculpture Expression Basic Exercise"" and ""Expression Theory of Sculpture.""
The number of the students will be limited due to class size or conditions of school facilities. Also we will collect about 3000yen for material fee (tools, materials) for practical lessons

Message Aside from lectures, you're required to do research and creation of works as assignments with a lot of time-consuming work, but your active attitude to coping with the assignments are appreciated.
