This is a basic specialized class about art and design. This class aims to teach the basics of theories and knowledge about expressions with cubes. Students are expected to see the learning outcomes about Knowledge・Understanding, Practical abilities and skills.

This is a basic specialized class about art and design. This class aims to teach the basics of theories and knowledge about expressions with cubes. Students are expected to see the learning outcomes about Knowledge・Understanding, Practical abilities and skills. 
Class Schedule lesson1 Guidance: Learn about sculpture and curvings, their unieque features and history. Understand materials and expression techniques. Find a research topic.
Lesson 2Working with clay: Deepen understanding of clay as a material.
Lesson3 Haptic art1:: Understand haptic art by observing materials

  Confirm the contents of the lesson to reconfirm the assignment, Read reference books

 Implement ""kneading"" accordingly, and as practical experience, learn the method of work precisely.

 While reading reference books and writing reports, deepen understanding about sculpture as a tactile art

 Implement ""plastering"" accordinfly, and as practical experience, learn the method of work precisely.

 Fully understand the contents of the assignments, and try to acqyire the techniques as well as pursue expression of the self

Requirements Specialized subject(sculpture) The number of the students will be limited in this class due to class size or conditions of school facilities.  Additional material cost(tools, materials) for practical lesson will be added when needed.  Applicants for this course who are not art majors need to consult with teachers in charge.
