Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Family nursing considers one family as the object of care and how to intervene and respond to them so that they can achieve a healthy life. The goal of this class is to deepen students' understanding of diseases and syndromes necessary in family nursing and to discuss better family nursing. Group work and group discussion will be actively conducted in the class. In addition, CPR practice will be conducted using mannequins and an automatic defibrillator (AED) demonstration machine.

CPR practice will be conducted at the Health Service Center using special mannequins and AED demonstration machines.

Please participate in class in a positive manner by actively speaking up during group work and group discussions in class.
After class, please talk with your friends about the topics covered in class. Also, please try to expand your knowledge and broaden your horizons by checking again with books, etc., to consolidate the knowledge you have gained, and by obtaining related information.
Please wear comfortable clothing for CPR Practice 1 and 2, as you will be practicing chest compressions, etc.

Practical Experience Experienced  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it The faculty member in charge is a cardiologist and has worked at a major hospital in the Hiroshima prefecture since 2013 and at the Health Service Center, Hiroshima University since 2021. He has also been teaching CPR as an American Heart Association certified instructor since 2022. Drawing on these experiences, he will explain the necessary knowledges in home nursing.
