The purpose of this course is to learn the basic knowledge relevant to learning the second language, to give important inspiration concerning the second language education, and to understand psychological mechanisms of students through learning research achievements by means of cognitive and language psychology (including hypothesis and theories).

Lesson 2 Memory representation of a second languages(1)(eparation theory,  joint ownership theory,  association experiment, etc.)
Lesson 3 Memory representation of a second language (2)( vocabulary, Hierarchy model of the concept, Development hypothesis,etc.)
Lesson 4 Memory representation of a second language (3)(Bilingual double encoding model)
Lesson 5 Interference between two languages (Code-switching,Stroop problem,etc.)
Lesson 6 Education and psychology of the second language(1)(The acquisition and maintenance of the vocabulary information,etc.)

Midterm examination Lesson 8 will be the examination to confirm the basic knowledge of content from Lesson1 to Lesson7. Term-end examination required to explain the matters, introduce the experimental study, or explain the thesis and model from all lessons. Also to measure the skills of guessing psychological process of the second language learning.

At all examinations you write answers by looking at notebook materials provided in class. At term-end examination, the question about a sign-language as a second language is included. Text/Reference Books, etc.  No specific textbooks.

(More Details) Both Power Point and whiteboard are used in class. Sheets of materials are provided as teaching materials each lesson. The relevant literature is introduced in class when needed.

Lesson 1 - Lesson 13 every time key words are provided for the next lesson, it is desirable to finde and look for important psychological and linguistic phenomena,  theories and models, etc.individually. 
Requirements Listen to the teacher firmly. Do not only write down the linguistic or non-linguistic information on the screen or whiteboard. Students will experience learning progress of basic words taking sign language as a second language to explore deep understandings of linguistic second language.Students with more than five absence of fourteen lessons cannot take the final exam. 
Grading Method Results of class are evaluated on midterm examination 30%, Term-end examination 70%.
