This course covers grammatical items including comparative expressions, negation, relatives, grammatical agreement, speech presentation, parenthetical expressions, ellipsis, emphasis, inversion, nouns, pronouns, determiners, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, discourse markers, prepositions, and punctuation. Students attending this course are expected to acquire a highly sophisticated knowledge about English grammar, and to consider how to teach learners a given grammatical item in the classroom. Using a grammar exercise book, this course also brushes up their grammatical competence in English.

Prepare for a quiz which covers the chapter assigned of the coursebook, the supplementary coursebook and the exercises in the previous session.   
Requirements Materials are distributed online. Therefore, students should bring their own PCs to class.
