Class Objectives /Class Outline |
This course covers grammatical items including comparative expressions, negation, relatives, grammatical agreement, speech presentation, parenthetical expressions, ellipsis, emphasis, inversion, nouns, pronouns, determiners, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, discourse markers, prepositions, and punctuation. Students attending this course are expected to acquire a highly sophisticated knowledge about English grammar, and to consider how to teach learners a given grammatical item in the classroom. Using a grammar exercise book, this course also brushes up their grammatical competence in English. |
