In this lecture, students can overview what “English Education” deals with and where it covers, learning its theories and principles. It will help their preparation for practical teaching situations.

  The history of English education in Japan.

3: Aim of English Education
  The aim of English Education concerning the situation in which now Japan is, historically and globally.
4: Instruction on vocabulary and Grammar
  The principles and the methodologies about teaching vocabulary and grammar.
5: Instruction on Listening
  The principles and the methodologies about developing listening abilities.

6: Instruction on Speaking
  The principles and the methodologies about developing speaking abilities.

7: Instruction on Reading
  The principles and the methodologies about developing reading abilities.
8: Instruction on Writing
  The principles and the methodologies about developing writing abilities.
9: Teaching Materials
  How to use teaching materials.
10 Integrated Language Activities
  How to teach integrated language activities.
11: Class practice examples
  Watching recorded lessons.
