"Reading old documents and literature to understand the expressions used in ancient Japanese language culture
For comprehension, taking an inductive method of collecting examples of word's meanings one by one to specify repeatedly the most appropriate meaning in the relevant text
Through the process, aiming to identify and study the issues in Japanese language education
Also, to read old documents and literature, dealing with old dictionaries (used when compiling dictionaries of current Japanese and archaic words and also its knowledge is essential for teachers in secondary education) "

 In "『伊勢物語』 taken up in secondary education," I do 定家本・天福本 (Gakushuin University Kuramoto) made much of most with an original text and let you compare it with the other book (Bo place Nabeshima book(鍋島本)) and a block style of Chinese character book(真名本) and can go on reading it. The charge group is in charge of around 20 lines and performs clarification of a term, elucidation and a study of the science of Japanese.

Requirements "Students must attend  Ancient Japanese Language Culture A (Japanese Linguistic fields)
Practical subject. Preparation and presentation is the main lesson of this subject. Presenter should make a unique presentation. Audience should make questions.
Next presenter presides at the class. Limited for 30 students.
 
Grading Method "Based on following elements comprehensively (B. intellectual performance, Attainment 05・07)

 1. Presentation of exercises 2. Questions in exercises (Required to ask at least 1 question out of 15 lessons, otherwise you will fail) 3. Assignments 4. Attendance (Not more than 3 day absences, otherwise you will fail)"
