The purpose of this course is to deepen understanding of the culture of writing along with writing brushes, and to understand the fundamental contents (including practical) of calligraphy in Japanese language in junior high school education.

Lesson 2  Transition of letters and types
   ・5 types, Six writings

Lesson 3  How to write basic lines and dots
   ・Brushwork, Tip of writing brush, Writing pressure, Angle of writing brush

Lesson 4  Distance and length of lines and dots
   ・Equally-spaced intervals, Emphasized line and dot

Lesson 5  Adjacent and intersectional position and also proper proportion of lines and dots
   ・Acceptance of cursive writing

Lesson 6  How to lay out Chinese character (right and left)
   ・Principle of compromise, Transformation of letter shape

Lesson 7  How to lay out Chinese character (top and bottom)
   ・Principle of compromise, Transformation of letter shape

Lesson 8  How to lay out Chinese character (inside and outside)

Lesson 1  Prepare for writing utensils for calligraphy based on explanation.
Lesson 2  Obtain knowledge on transformation of type and six writings.
Lesson 3  Review how to write basic lines and dots.
Lesson 4  Practice distance and length of lines and dots, applying to letters you use everyday.
Lesson 5  Practice adjacent and intersectional position and also proper proportion of lines and dots, applying to letters you use everyday.
Lesson 6  Practice how to lay out Chinese character  (right and left), applying to letters you use everyday.
Lesson 7  Practice how to lay out Chinese character  (top and bottom), applying to letters you use everyday.
Lesson 8  Practice how to lay out Chinese character  (inside and outside), applying to letters you use everyday.
Lesson 9  Apply acquirements in lesson 3 to 8 to daily use in writing letters with pens and pencils.                                                    Lesson 10 Memorize origins of Kana letters.
Lesson 11 Practice alignment of Kana letter shapes with letters you use everyday.
Lesson 12 Apply arrangement, posture and size of letters to daily use
Lesson 13 Apply how to write letters horizontally to daily use.
Lesson 14 Practice how to write letters and post cards, applying the format of them to daily use.
Lesson 15 Fully understand and recognize the purpose of calligraphy in Japanese language.
