The objective of this course is (1) to understand the physical and mechanical properties of the wood by an experiment, and (2) to understand the educational materials of wood and wood processing. |

It is desirable that students prepare and review the lesson in reference to the Class Schedule. Lesson 1: Check the syllabus. Lessons 2 to 6: Confirm the methods of experiment and analysis regarding the physical properties of wood. Lessons 7 to 11: Confirm the methods of experiment and analysis regarding the mechanical properties of wood. Lessons 12 to 15: Examine the types and practical examples of teaching materials related to wood and wood processing used in junior high schools. |

Students who have already taken "Introduction to Woodworking", "Practice in Teaching Materials for Woodworking I" and "Practice in Teaching Materials for Woodworking Ⅱ". |
Grading Method |
Students will be comprehensively assessed by behavior in class (15%) and reports (85%). |
