It is desirable that students prepare and review the lesson in reference to the Class Schedule.
Lesson 1: Check the syllabus.
Lesson 2: Finding wooden products around you.
Lesson 3: Researching news about forest resources in Japan and the world.
Lessons 4 to 6: Investigating the types and properties of wood used in wooden products around us.
Lesson 7: Investigating the types and characteristics of the wood materials used in the wooden products around us.
Lesson 8: Investigating ways to make durable structures used in everyday products.
Lessons 9 to 15: Confirm the types and structures of tools and equipment used in each process of manufacturing using wood. 
Requirements None. 
Grading Method Students will be comprehensively assessed by behavior in class (15%), quizzes (45%) and reports (40%).
