・With regard to science education in secondary education, to be able to conduct basic observations and experiments, and to handle computer processing. 
Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course is about teaching contents of junior high school and high school science. Students will select a region, and conduct an outdoor observation/practical work and visit to facilities such as museums to learn the surface layer of the earth and events occurring inside the earth. Through those activities, the students will understand the nature of the selected region and examine how to incorporate it in the teaching contents.

Contents:Advance study on geological mapping
3.Practical Work 2(San-in region)
Field Observation(Practical Studies centering around observation & description of Sedimentary and Volcanic Rocks and observation & measurement of Geological Structure)

  To be arranged  after field work is finished.

You will be provided with an overview of the practical work in the orientation. You should link the contents of the practical work with what you have learned through earth science related lectures by the first day of the practical work. After the practical work is done, you should summarize what you learned mainly by working on the report assignment.
 
Requirements "Special subject ( science, earth science)
This course will be an intensive course: 4 consecutive days of one-day lesson."
 
Grading Method Students will be evaluated based on class performance( attendance, reports, etc.).
