・With regard to science education in secondary education, to be able to conduct basic observations and experiments, and to handle computer processing. 
Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This is a basic course of the Program in Science Education. The purpose of this course is for students to acquire the fundamental and basic skills for observations and experiments concerning earth science, and to cultivate the capabilities to examine and study the fundamental and basic content and methods concerning earth science through observations and experiments. This course also includes processing of earth science data using a computer.

Review
It is important to consciously pay attention to familiar nature regularly. Students will be instructed what to observe and other assignments by the instructor. Students are expected to make observations by themselves accordingly. Please consider this course as an opportunity to think about the contents of teaching materials and experiment methods in junior high schools and high schools from the standpoint of a teacher who teach students experiments and observations.
 
Requirements "Special subject(science, earth science experiments( including utilization of computers))
It is desirable that students have taken Basic Knowledge of Earth Science.
There is a limit to the number of students who can take this course.

Grading Method Students will be evaluated based on the results of practical work in each lesson. Attendance is important as this course consists mainly of observations and experiments.

Other To prevent the spread of new coronavirus infectious diseases, students in this class will be treated as follows for this year only.
・The maximum number of participants is limited to 20 students.
・The priorities of the participants are as follows, and those who exceed the upper limit will be drawn by lot.
・1.Students in Science Education course, 2.Students in Science Education course retaken, 3.Students wishing to obtain a teacher's license (science) (4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st year students in order)
・Wear a mask and take the course.
