Class Objectives /Class Outline |
This course will provide students with an opportunity to practically examine the current status and challenges of vocational education for students with intellectual disabilities, including classroom observation at school, visit to a special subsidiary company, practical work for technical skill tests. At the conclusion of this course, the students should acquire the basic knowledge concerning vocational education for students with intellectual disabilities. |

Requirements |
Students must participate in practical studies at the proficiency tests for students in special needs schools hosted by the Hiroshima Prefectural Board of Education (more than 2 categories). Taking this course throughout a year is a prerequisite. |

Students’ reports and contribution in class will be evaluated from the aspects of learning level of specific knowledge of vocational education for students with intellectual impairments, skills to utilize teaching materials, and other. |
