Class Objectives /Class Outline |
The objective of this course is for children to acquire the fundamental knowledge of teaching practices that is required for engaging in education for children with intellectual disabilities, through learning from practical examples of autonomous activities such as including communication of children with intellectual disabilities, their learning, instructional methods of life skills, and response to maladjusted behavior. |

Suggestions on Preparation and Review |
The subjects up to Lesson7: communication instructional methods, learning instructional methods, daily living instructional methods, instructional methods of interpersonal skills and sociality, and response to maladjusted behavior, include some new items. Therefore, you should review the lessons steadily. Regarding the practical examples of autonomous activities covered by Lesson8-14, you should sort out and review knowledge based on the Curriculum Guidelines Commentary in addition to review of lesson contents. |
