Suggestions on Preparation and Review |
Lesson 1-15 Revew textbook and handouts. Not only study with book, but also make materials.
Lesson4-6: Understand the characteristics of persons who are in expert in reading Braille, and study the basics of teaching for blind children. Lesson7-8: Study what skills and abilities are required to write correct Braille. Lesson9-11: Compare braille textbooks and government-authorized textbooks to find what is common and what is different and understand why those are different. Lesson12-14: Acquire skills to make Braille teaching materials using PC. * At every lesson, your Braille reading skills will be checked. Reading 50 letters or more per minute is a prerequisite for awarding of credits by the end of Semester 6. |
