This is a special basic subject about education for students with visual impairments, which will provide fundamental knowledge for special basic subjects and special subjects to be taken later.

Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This is a basic subject about education for students with visual impairments, including Physiology, Pathology, Psychology, framework of system, Teaching method and materials.
The aim of this course is for students to understand the characteristics of the lessons designed in accordance with the children’s disabilities, basic knowledge and skills for designing lessons in special needs schools (visual impairment), and basic items for researching on lessons.

Requirements This is a required course that corresponds to Section2 of the Teachers License Act (Teacher Certification for Special Needs School).  
Grading Method Students will be evaluated based on a final exam.

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it Instructor have teaching experience in special schools for the visually impaired and in colleges for the hearing and visually impaired. Instructor will present specific examples in the lecture.
