In this course, students in the 2nd year of the Program in Elementary School Teacher Education will observe practical study at elementary schools by students in the 3rd year of the Program so that they can picture elementary school students and their practical study at elementary schools and raise their awareness as undergraduate students who wish to have a career in teaching to be prepared for practical study at elementary schools in the next academic year.

"Lesson2: Advance Guidance I. Thursday, 20 June
(Announcement of schools that each student will visit for observation, guidance for all, etc.)

"Lesson3: Meeting with the 3rd year students. Late August

※There will be a report assignment ( observation record)

※ The detail schedule will be provided in the first faculty orientation.
※Students will visit only one school out of three options. Student will be asked which school they wish to visit in the faculty orientation, the decision will be made based on the students’ answers.

Preparation and
Review
Preparation for Lesson 1: Obtain information of each elementary school from their website and others( information for making decision which school to go)
Preparation for Lesson2: Review of learning in introduction to primary school teaching practice(Meaning of and mental preparation for teaching practice, etc.)
Review of Lesson2 & Preparation for Lesson3: Thoroughly understand things to keep in mind in observing teaching practice.
Review of Lesson3 & Preparation for Lesson4: Hear the contents of their teaching practice and a lesson to be given when you visit from the third year students.
Review of Lesson4 and Preparation for Lesson 5: Review what has been studied up to this point and read the handouts and other materials carefully to prepare for the course.
Review of Lesson5 and Preparation for Lesson 6: Sort out findings and the outcome of your observation of teaching practice and identify your challenge for the future.
Review of Lesson 6: Start preparing for your teaching practice in the next academic year.
 
Requirements  
Grading Method Students will be evaluated based on  contribution in teaching practice observation, and reports (observation record).
Grades to be awarded to students are: S, A, B, C, and D(S being the highest).
