To understand the meaning and contents of shaping in arts and crafts classes. Through viewing activities, students will experience the joy of proactively creating and expressing their own images. Students are expected to improve their active viewing ability which will serve as the basis of teaching qualities.

Read the ‘Curriculum Guidelines’ for elementary school education and ‘Commentary to the Curriculum Guidelines, Arts and Crafts’ for preparing for and reviewing a lesson.
Summarize your idea in accordance with a theme.
Use materials and tools effectively to make works.
Ask the instructor of ‘craft’ about Lesson9, 10, 11, 12, 13, &14.
 
Requirements Students will cover material cost for practical work (about 1,000yen).
 
Grading Method Students will be evaluated comprehensively based on commitment and contribution to class, submitted work assignment, reports, etc.
